Scrapbooking in Irvine California

Many folks combine rubber stamping and scrapbooking. The Scrapbook Oasis, located in Irvine offers classes in both.

I love that The Scrapbook Oasis has a blog and has it updated with photos from the classes.

While in Irvine, take advantage of the many photo opportunities available.

According to the Orange County Zoo Website:

"The Orange County Zoo is located inside beautiful Irvine Park in the city of Orange. The Zoo is nestled among the majestic 477 acre wilderness park.

The Zoo's focus is on animals and plants native to the southwestern United States. Animals on exhibit include black bears, mountain lions, bald eagle, island foxes, ocelot, red-tailed hawk, great horned owls, porcupine, coyotes, turkey vultures, coati and more. The zoo also features a barnyard with domestic goats, chevoit sheep, jacob sheep, pot-bellied pigs, doves and pheasants."

If you enjoy animals (I can create entire scrapbooks of just animals), there is also the Santa Ana Zoo. They have not only a rain forest but over fifty monkeys.

The Irvine Museum is dedicated to the preservation and display of California Impressionism or Plein-Air paintings, an art style that was popular in California from 1890 to 1930.

Irvine Lake is over 750 acres of fishing and fun for the entire family. With the mountains on one side and water below, who could ask for better photos?

And of course Irvine is not far at all from both Disneyland and Knott's Berry Farm, two of my favorite places to visit.
